Anchovy Toasts
These are so easy & taste so good. You need: A baguette A few cloves of peeled garlic A nice ripe tomato cut in half Salt packed Anchovies Cut the bread into medium thin slices. Now toast it. (preferably on a BBQ, but the oven grill or a toaster will do) Rub one side of the toasted bread with a garlic clove; then rub the same side with the cut side of a tomato Drape an anchovy fillet over the rubbed side of the toast. Serve & enjoy! How's that for simple?
